Gord Rand: Director, Rand Ink
Gord Rand is an actor, writer and director. He has written three acclaimed and controversial plays: Orgy in the Lighthouse,Pond Life, and The Trial of Thumbelina – NOW Magazine’s Outstanding New Play.
He directed the Bravofact! short film The Nincompoops, co-wrote and co-directed the comedic shorts The End, Pull My Finger, Does It Help? and To Sir, With Jizz: The Justin Cider Story. Gord is co-creator of The Left Wing, a sitcom in development about a doomed idealist running for city councillor.

 

John Westheuser: Director of Photography & Co-Director
Gemini Award winning John Westheuser has been a director of photographer in Canada for more than 25 years. Arguably one of the best verité shooters in the world, John will operate the camera & co-direct with Gord Rand.  John has a particular interest in character-driven storytelling, coupled with an ability to plunge into chaotic situations & emerge with beautifully composed images which speak volumes. His work as a photographer with White Pine Pictures includes the Emmy award-winning Shake Hands with the Devil: The Journey of Romeo Dallaire, Tsepong: A Clinic Called Hope and the Sundance Hit Triage. Other work includes Rage Against the Darkness (JS Kastner Productions) & Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist, Rebel (Metaphor/Victor Solnicki/White Pine - TIFF 2009). John is a remarkable collaborator & we are honored to work with him on this, our Debut film.

Tyler Cook: Sound Technician
Tyler is an emerging sound technician in Toronto.  Credits include Canadian broadcasted show "Distinguished Artists", "Othello - Behind the Scenes", as well as many other feature/short films, television series, and corporate projects.

Tara Hughes: Producer
Tara Hughes is one of Canada’s best loved Theatre practitioners with a reputation for excellence & range. Tara is the only original member of the group of actors first cast in Goodness, a play which has deepened her belief in the power of Theatre to promote change.
